The Kilt Shop opened in Sunrise Park in October of 2018 under the name Kilts & Regalia, by Ian Agar and Charles Smith.

Ian had extensive experience in retail both here in South Africa with Edcon and in Saudi Arabia with the Al Hokair group.

Charles has management and sales experience in various industries, specialising in manufacturing of bags. Seeing a gap in the market for affordable but good quality Scottish apparel and accessories, Ian travelled to the USA to investigate the possibilities of a Scottish retail shop.

We offer both the traditional kilt outfits with accessories along with the more casual American styled kilts for purchase and a selection ok traditional kilts and jackets to hire.

The Kilt Shop holds over 200 kilts in stock and we regularly import specific items for customers and friends.

Our service is friendly and efficient and we welcome folk to pop in and browse.
